Romance-Inspiring RV Park

For the finest rooms, resort homes and RV park nearest Yosemite Valley, click on any of the four Yosemite Resorts properties in the left column. From luxury to economy, they're four great places to stay!

Motorhome Magazine today included Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park on its list of the nation’s top 10 most romantic RV destinations. Indian Flat RV Park in El Portal, Calif. is the closest RV Park to Yosemite Valley (eight miles from the park’s western boundary on state route 140).

Motorhome’s list identified Yosemite National Park as providing “breathtaking views of giant sequoias, amazing waterfalls and snowcapped mountains.” has 25 RV sites, 25 tent sites and rustic cabins. The RV park is situated beside the Yosemite Cedar Lodge which has a convenience and gift store, two restaurants and indoor and outdoor pools and spa available for use of Indian Flat campers.

Romance aside, the great thing about Indian Flat is that it’s close to the valley and you can ride the YARTS bus and not have to move your rig.
