The average temperature in Yosemite National Park could rise by more than 7 degrees by the end of this century, making it hotter than Sacramento was between 1961 and 1990. That is according to a new report from the Rocky Mountain Climate Organization and the Natural Resources Defense Council.

The U.S. Public Health Service will take over operation of the Yosemite Medical Clinic beginning Jan. 1, 2011. Yosemite National Park Superintendent Don Neubacher made the announcement over the weekend.
